First deployment of Augmented Reality at the Chooz NPP

First step successfully completed!

After announcing the start of his tour of nuclear power plants a few weeks ago, Kylian has completed his first augmented reality (AR) deployment at the Chooz nuclear power plant

On the agenda:

• Implementation of AR solutions,
• Team training,
• Immersive demonstrations,
  During this deployment, users were able to observe future changes to the plant, which generated a lot of excitement.

💡 But what exactly is Augmented Reality (AR)?💡
AR is a technology that allows virtual elements (images, text, diagrams, 3D models, animations, etc.) to be superimposed onto the real world in real time via a screen (smartphone, tablet) or a specialised headset.

In practical terms, it helps teams to:

• Visualise technical information directly in their environment,
• Save time during interventions,
• Improve safety and efficiency in the field.
