MySurvey: 10 years in the business… Long live MySurvey 2.0

“MySurvey is software that enables people who don’t necessarily have 3D skills to visit a complex industrial facility without having to travel, and to prepare an inventory, maintenance plan or modification.” In a single sentence, François-Xavier EECKMAN, one of the creators of MySurvey, sets out the aim: to make 3D useful, accessible and, above all, operational.

It was in 2014, following a large-scale 3D scanning project at a petrochemical site, that a realisation struck him: the scans were flawless, but “the clients didn’t have the right tool to open them”. In short, the data exists, but its use doesn’t follow.

After a benchmark carried out with Frédéric Bernard, his business partner, the diagnosis was clear: there was indeed a lack of a simple and effective visualisation tool on the market!

Bernard Chayla, one of their consultants, then developed a prototype, and the trio had it tested by partner engineering firms to put it through its paces. MySurvey was born!

Then, one spring day in 2015, EDF (DIPDE) discovered MySurvey and requested a demonstration in Marseille. EDF was won over, and here’s what happened next:

2016 — Founding of Quadrica. Industrial projects follow one after another, and the DAC module marks a strategic turning point.
2019 — Launch of the virtual reality version of MySurvey, VirtualSurvey (known as ViSu)
2022 — Acquisition of Quadrica by the Cyclife Group, ushering in a new phase of development and ambition.
2024 — Merger/takeover of Quadrica and Cyclife Digital Solutions, forming a single legal entity
2026 — Complete modernisation of the software with a new engine: a new phase begins with Mysurvey 2.0!

A decade has passed and the story continues – with the same promise: to transform 3D data into real-world value.
