Visit of ICEDA

Yesterday, part of our digital support team visited the ICEDA facility (on the Bugey power plant site), as part of the existing building modeling project. This modeling is combined with a BIM approach to meet certain use cases, especially for engineering and simulation.

The visit gave our modelers a better understanding of the environment for which they are building a digital twin.

Our digital support unit, based in Lyon, was also commissioned this year to carry out several BIM projects for the EDF Group, including the modeling of the Fessenheim auxiliary building and the REN exchangers at Tricastin.
Other projects are, of course, underway or about to begin, but we’re not about to reveal them all at once!
